American Cage Fighters
An American cage fighter was apprehended after having ripped out his trainers still beating heart from his chest. He says he was convinced that his friend, Taylor Powell, had been possessed by the Devil. He also cut out his tongue and ripped off most of his face. Looks like the crazies have sprung up on the West coast now.

Jarrod Wyatt, 26, was found standing naked over his friend and trainer covered in blood from head to toe. There were body parts thrown around the room with blood spattered all over the walls and to top it off, a lone eyeball in the middle of the room. Justin Davis, another of Wyatt’s buddies, stumbled upon this grisly scene after going to check on him at his apartment in Klamath, California. Wyatt later told police that he had drunk a cup of tea spiked with hallucinogenic mushrooms. Um, sounds more like it was spiked with PCP, Meth, or perhaps the Rage Virus. Either that or he must have been in a really bad state of mind during his trip.

Autopsies revealed that Taylor Powell, 21, had bled to death after Wyatt had sliced open his chest, gaining access to the heart. He told police that he threw the heart, along with other organs, into the fireplace, fearing that his friend was still alive and he needed to ‘stop the Devil.’ Police were called to the scene by Davis who noticed a drastic mood shift in Wyatt after ingesting the ‘magic’ mushroom tea.
“My client was trying to silence to Devil,” says James Fallman, Wyatt’s lawyer, who claims that he had no control over his actions causing him to act out in such a violent way. “I think he was having a psychotic fit over the mushrooms he had.”

Prosecutor Claims Sustained Intent
I don’t know about you, but something seems amiss from this gruesome story. The prosecutor said that cutting out someone’s heart, tongue, and face would most likely take a long time thus proving sustained intent. In my opinion Wyatt must have been pretty unhinged in the first place to be capable of this atrocity even on ‘shrooms’, usually considered to be a peaceful, mellow, “let’s laugh at the trees” kinda high.
Whatever your take on this, at least we know this psycho is behind bars on charges of first-degree murder as well as torture, which was added on account of the fact that Powell was still alive when his heart was taken from his body.
