There is the very upscale Pier Shop (http://www.thepiershopsatcaesars.com/) which is a two-story pier mall filled with designer stores. I could afford anything in there, but it made for a very pleasant experience to walk around and take in the scenery. I am also a big fan of the Atlantic City Outlets (http://www.acoutlets.com/). I always seem to find a bargain there. They have stored for all of the best brands like Bass, Tommy and many more. You can get name brands for much less than you would in a regular mall or department store.

Another great feature of Atlantic City is the boardwalk. You can stroll up and down in the sunshine each day. You can pick up an inexpensive coffee or breakfast and sit on a bench in the morning. Or head out in the evening for an ice cream cone. It’s so pleasant to walk beside the ocean.

If you are looking for some cheap eats or drinks, Atlantic City has a ton of great little pubs to get a bite to eat at. My favorite is the Irish Pub (http://www.theirishpub.com/html.htm). The pub is the best place to indulge in tasty steak fries, burgers and good ale. They even have dinner specials like meatloaf and the pub is tasty, but budget-friendly pub to hang out in.
